Shrimp cooks really fast because it has a higher surface area to volume ratio, meaning that theres more surface of the meat in contact with the pan. This, and the fact that you don't have to cut anything, allows it to be prepared very fast (if you buy it deveined that is). I recommend buying from stores like Aldi, it is significantly cheaper.

Shrimp is super healthy. It is very low in calories and fat content and high in protein. Most of the, very minimal, fat in shrimp consists of omega-3 fatty acids, which are very good for you!

Ingredients:
-Shrimp (deveined, shell off)
-Olive oil
-Salt
-Whole garlic clove
-Onion powder
-Cumin
-Paprika
-Cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in pan on medium. Add whole garlic and roast a few seconds and then crush in spatula when tender. Toss in shrimp and add salt, onion powder, cumin, paprika and cayenne pepper (a few shakes of each should be good). Mix around and should be fully cooked in 5 minutes, on medium-high heat! Enjoy with rice, in a salad, with pasta, etc.
